Corkie was born into the horse world. As a youth, he was deeply involved in the horse show world and junior rodeo laying the groundwork for a career as a farrier. Corkie was always where a local farrier was. This led to locals hauling horses in for him to work on. Over the years he has worked almost every major AQHA show and PRCA rodeo. With so many word champions in his portfolio, it’s impossible to list them all.                                            

The last twenty years his main focus has been on lameness, specifically tendon rehab, navicular, founder, laminitis.
